​​​​Patient Advocacy Leadership Council (PLC) 

In May 2025, the Patient Advocacy Leadership Council (PLC) was formed as a way to bring the amyloidosis and cardiovascular patient leadership community, and caregiver community together and gain a better understanding into the impact of the expanding ATTR landscape, and ways to work across varied organizations.  This PLC will be a critical forum for collective understanding on the current state of ATTR, including unmet needs of patients and caregivers, and the expectations of manufacturers conducting research and introducing new therapeutic options and working with payors and policy makers. The PLC also provides a forum for groups involved to identify areas of mutual interest and collaborative opportunities to best support the community together.​​
